The original G-Wash himself, @cjack930 , graced the couch with his presence on a rainy night in November. By the time he departed, Gillian would be changed forever. C-Jack would be more or less the same. But “The Pleasing Expectation” certainly made the trip worth his while. *To make the fig jam cut 2 pounds black mission figs into small pieces and add to a large nonreactive saucepan. Top with 1-1/2 cups sugar and stir. Let sit for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally until the sugar is dissolved and the figs are juicy.
